1. Common Use Cases:

  • Driving across the U.S.-Canada or U.S.-Mexico border
  • Cruises departing from and returning to the same U.S. port that visit Canada, Mexico, Caribbean islands, or Bermuda (closed-loop cruises)
  • As a backup form of government-issued photo ID domestically
  • TSA-accepted identification for domestic flights

2. Combo Option:

  • You can apply for BOTH a passport book and card simultaneously
  • Adult first-time: $160 (application) + $35 (acceptance) = $195
  • Adult renewal: $160 total
