1. By Mail (DS-82 Renewal or DS-11 when applicable):
- Write "EXPEDITE" on the outside of the mailing envelope
- Include the additional $60 fee with your payment
- Check the "Expedite" box on the application form
- Use a trackable mailing method (USPS only for PO Box addresses)
2. In Person (DS-11 at acceptance facility):
- Check the "Expedite" box on the form
- Pay the additional $60 fee
- The facility forwards your application to the State Department
3. Online Renewal:
- Select expedited processing during the online application process
